The River Legacy is indebted to the people of Llangollen, who allowed the recent Dee Tour to take place and who have helped pave the away for further tours to happen.

The town is extremely reliant upon the tourism industry, and as a result also very much relies on the presence of non-locals at all times of the year, particularly during the winter.
