Plas y Brenin

Plas y Brenin is the National Mountain Centre for Wales and is set in beautiful surroundings at Capel Curig in Conwy. The centre provides training opportunities for many outdoor sports, including canoeing, kayaking, climbing, skiing, mountain leadership, first aid and a lot more besides. Plas y Brenin is managed by the Mountain Training Trust, set up by the British Mountaineering Council, the Mountain Leader Training Board, and the United Kingdom Mountain Training Board.

In February this year, Plas y Brenin kindly allowed the River Legacy to set up a display board in their bar during their Paddlesport Expedition Symposium. They also allowed us to sneak into the back of Dave Manby's lectures and wander about a bit, chatting with all sorts of random people whilst drinking their tasty beverages. Cheers! :-)
