Over the years many people have helped out with the River Legacy, and today there are still lots of people who put in a huge amount of time and effort to make things happen. None of them are paid, all are volunteers and get involved because they believe in what they do. The main characters who run this show at the moment deserve a special mention. All are paddlers of some description, with differing levels of ability and experience, and they all believe in the aims and goals of the River Legacy.

The main men (and women!) of the River Legacy, some of whom are also Trustees, currently include Steve Wales (Chairman), Chris Redwood (Treasurer), Bryony Butcher (Secretary), Andy Turton, Eddie Hales and Clive Mills, but there are heaps of others who help out with event organisation and we are growing all the time.
