Once described as "the tall loud guy with the pony-tail", Andy likes paddling. Lots.
As it says on his website, "Andy started kayaking when he was knee high to a newt" and he's paddled all over the world as a safety boater, a raft guide and a freelance coach. Often seen in his home town of Bangor, on the Tryweryn or out in Austria coaching, Andy also puts in a huge amount of energy to make sure River Legacy events happen, and is probably the closest thing we have to Event Organiser.
In his own words "I have loved the sport since I was 5ish, I gain loads from teaching and leading people in the sport, I admire the outdoors and natural life. I like to have a laugh, get my hands dirty and to see people learn and have fun. The sport enables me to do this". I think that pretty much sums him up.
You can find out more about how he earns his living on his website, just here. All enquiries and bookings very welcome!
