Once known as The Funky Guildford Dude, but now just The Funky Dude, David has paddled since he was a wee nipper and eventually took to white water in the much the same way as a freshly hatched duck takes to the pond - *plop*. He joined Reading University Canoe Club in 2002 and since then has really not looked back.

David has paddled in lots of far-flung places and is currently out there doing just that - on a global tour for the next year or so, lucky boy! The rest of the time he enjoys freelancing as a web site design thingummyjig person (insert jargon of your choice just here) and helps Diana with the technical side of the River Legacy website, which is very useful as she doesn't really have a clue what she is doing.
